Left flyers on field work and reduced fare/free helmets in various languages with staff at the Central Library. They did not share any concerns about the location of the corral.
talked with property manager at West edge residence, they don’t want a bike Corral right in front of their entrance. But they don’t mind if the corral is on the other part of the sidewalk.

Talked with Skalka restaurant employee, they had no concerns about the location of the corral in front of their restaurant because they don’t want to use the sidewalk for seating.

Fairmont Olympic Hotel had concerns about the storefront side walk space and blocking the taxi cabs curb. She also was concerned about riding safely and lack of helmets available for guests or users of the scooters.
Talked to a Seattle credit union employee, gave them flyer, no concerns. Positive feedback and wants users to respect the parking when it is done.

Employee at DESC (housing services and shelter) said the bike/scooter corral would not serve his clients/population, but he said it was better than having the scooters by the bus stop.
Director of Sales and Marketing of the Lotte Hotels and The Sanctuary was concerned about a bike and scooter zone in this location for pedestrian and hotel user safety. He mentioned that the buses and hotel vans have backed into the sidewalk multiple times and hit the tree that used to be there and is concerned that this could happen to pedestrians. He did seem less concerned after I said we have enough clearance for pedestrians safety. Might email sdot for future concerns.
